WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE DESIGNER?
”I don’t really have one favourite, there are so many cool and different ones! But Gucci after Alessandro Michele’s arrival has been really on point with all that floral and romantic vibe. I also love Vetements’ style, how Supreme manage to maintain their hype and I get excited about some of these new LA brands popping up.”

WHO IS YOUR STYLE ICON?
”One style icon who always delivers is Grace Jones. She’s never been afraid to have fun with fashion and if I had a huge printer I’d just fill a whole wall with her pictures. It’s actually my father’s fault because when I was growing up he’d only let me watch either the news or James Bond. And with Grace Jones’ bad ass role in A View to a Kill, I remember being so fascinated at that time. Her androgynous look and power was something l'd never seen before!”

WHAT IS YOUR SIGNATURE STYLE?
”It really depends on the colour of my hair! Right now I have this pastel pink moment, so it all comes down to my mood that day but also what colours I can match with the one on top. I do like to mix street with a classic look though.”

WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE ON EARTH?
”Los Angeles, the city of angels! You’ve got everything there – the beaches, the people, the vibe, the city life… It’s the pop culture capital of the world.”

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD?
”Ok, this might sound weird, so prepare yourself: Spaghetti bolognese, but with a banana on the side. YUP! It’s actually the national dish of Somalia. I’m not playing.”

Don’t put yourself in a box, there are so many more fun looks than just one!

IF YOU HAD TO LEAVE YOUR APARTMENT IN A HURRY, WHAT WOULD YOU GRAB?
”My phone and its charger. As we all know, a day doesn’t count if you’re not able to show your shenanigans on Snapchat or Instagram!”

WHAT IS YOUR GO-TO LOOK?
”I don’t put myself in a box and neither should you. There are so many more fun looks than just one.”

WHY IS FASHION IMPORTANT?
”It’s an important way to express yourself. It doesn’t matter WHAT you’re wearing, your clothes speak for you anyways. An outfit says a lot about you and as long as you wear it with confidence it will look good. Now you’re almost allowed to wear anything, so fashion is absolutely an important way of always pushing limits and go forward. Deep enough answer?”

IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN HISTORY, WHAT FASHION ERA WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE IN?
”New York in the 80s. I would go dancing at Studio 54 and just hang around at The Factory and be creative with people like Andy Warhol and of course Grace Jones.”

WHAT ITEM WOULD YOU NEVER PART FROM?
”I just got engaged so I’d say my engagement ring! Well, if we cut that part where I tell you how I managed to forget it in LA now on my way back to Norway... Good thing I wasn’t going to New York with a bunch of girlfriends or something, because that would look suspicious.”

WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD?
”Have you ever seen the anime Sailor Moon? It’s about this cute and a bit of a crybaby schoolgirl who becomes the bad ass character Sailor Moon whenever she feels threatened. I still want to be her.”

WHAT IS YOUR GUILTY FASHION PLEASURE?
”Fashion magazines! Especially when I go abroad and I see people who look like me on the cover, if you know what I mean? In general there are more people outside Norway who look like me both on the covers and walking around in the streets, which is truly inspiring.”

WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO MEET?
”Just so I won’t drop any stereotypical name, Charlie Chaplin! Because he saw bad things in the society and did everything he could to still make people smile. Not sure though, if we should just celebrate his ingenious mind or cry because his films about dictators, technology and poverty still are relevant this day today.”

WHAT DO YOU NEED RIGHT NOW?
”Travelling back and forth between Norway and LA is kind of a huge contrast when it comes to the category weather. So maybe the LA weather and a day off by the pool with my friends from both worlds? And some vegan snacks! Yes, I think I’m becoming one of those...”

WHAT IS YOUR LATEST BEAUTY DISCOVERY?
”My friend Lydia @LydiaWho just taught me her trick with red lipstick doubling as eye shadow. I’m totally obsessed and I didn’t even know it was possible, but it looks so fresh!”
