Working as a Vogue accessories editor, collaborating with Gucci and styling for J.W. Anderson, Greek-born, Milan-based fashion editor Georgia Tal is about as cool as you get in fashion. As one of the creative forces behind cult Instagram account checking_invoices, she is also putting the fun back in fashion.
Photographer Adam Katz Sinding caught up with Georgia Tal in Milan, where she lent some of her bold, clever and highly personal styling game to the latest H&M pieces.

”J.W.Anderson. I believe he’s a creative genius and I admire his work both at his own brand and at [Spanish fashion house] Loewe.”

”Bianca Jagger. An amazing woman with a strong personality and great style!”

”Mixing colours and always wearing great shoes.”
WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE ON EARTH?
”Isla Holbox in Mexico – to me it’s paradise on earth. Had the best time in my life there! Would definitely recommend it to everyone.”

”Pasta, pasta and pasta! I could eat pasta every day of my life!!”

”Fashion is part of who we are, a vital part of society. Individuality and personal style define our character. Plus, it’s a big industry that offers work to many people and big capitals to many countries around the world.”

”The golden ’90s! So many great designers started in that period and defined the style of an era, real super models, iconic artists and singers expressed themselves and became an inspiration to so many people. It was a decade of many victories and major moments.”

”An architect! Then I actually went to school to study it and got a degree – even if at the end I’ve never worked with it.”

”Beauty masks. Nothing too crazy – I know – but I never actually tried them until recently. The results are amazing! I’m not really a beauty junkie so even common beauty masks are great discoveries to me!”
