Joann Pai follows Patrick Janelle's #dailycortado and the beautiful scenery of the Pacific Northwest in the feeds of Tina Albrecht and Jenny Vorwaller, All Over Press.
Vancouver photographer Joann Pai’s love of delicious food and travel unfolds on her Instagram, where she has racked up thousands of followers. Here, she shares her own Instagram favourites!
PATRICK JANELLE, @AGUYNAMEDPATRICK
A man about town in NYC. Fashionable and fabulous, yet totally relatable. He’s the guy next door with great taste and knows how to throw a party (see @springstreetsocialsociety). His #dailycortado hashtag got everybody ordering tasty espresso. I had the pleasure of meeting him recently and he’s an absolute sweetheart.
TINA ALBRECHT, @BITTADESIGN
A keen photographer, Tina's images capture moments in her life in the Pacific Northwest. From expansive landscapes to small intricate details, her photographs inspire me to get out of the city and appreciate the great outdoors. Tina and I recently launched an online food & lifestyle magazine together. It is awesome working with someone whose work I so admire.
MIMI THORISSON, @MIMITHOR
A beautiful and talented woman living the fairytale life in the French countryside with her photographer husband, 7 children, and 14 dogs. The ex-fashion journalist is now the author of a successful cooking blog Manger, the host of a French cooking show, and her cookbook is soon to be released. Her Instagram is a glimpse of her gorgeously delicious life. Oh, and have I mentioned she and her husband recently purchased a castle?
JENNY VORWALLER, @JENNYVORWALLER
A Seattle-based artist who takes an instinctive approach to her abstract paintings, she uses the Pacific Northwest landscape to tell her story. I was immediately drawn to her work when I discovered her profile on Instagram. I’ve been saving up for one of her paintings and it will be the first painting I put up in my new apartment!
CARIN OLSSON, @PARISINFOURMONTHS
Carin is living her dream (and mine) of being a photographer in Paris. Her beautiful images of my favourite city always make me want to pack my bags and hop on the next flight to France.
An artist known for her unique and ethereal style, Miso has recently been doing a series of homemade tattoos on friends. Combining whimsical and fine details, she is one of a kind and I hope to be tattooed by her one day.
