Vika Gazinskaya

Russian designer and style icon Vika Gazinskaya aims to stand out from the crowd. How she does it? Spontaneity is the key.

Vika Gazinskaya is something of an unintentional street style star. When she first went to Paris fashion week, dressed in her own designs, it wasn’t to impress the photographers (she didn’t even know who The Sartorialist and his likes were back then).

However, the street style bloggers loved her geometric silhouette, creative prints and signature bob hairstyle, and the media quickly dubbed her as one of the stylish members of the Russian fashion pack (alongside Miroslava Duma, Ulyana Sergeenko and Elena Perminova).

Today, she is a celebrated designer with several award nominations and a collab with H&M's sister & Other Stories on her resumé. Adam Katz Sinding photographed Gazinskaya in her hometown Moscow.
