The Weeknd teams with H&M on curated men’s collection
In March you’ll be able to wear key items that the pop and r’n’b superstar has handpicked.
The Weeknd – whose real name is Abel Tesfaye – is only 26 years old but already one of the world’s most celebrated artists and performers. To date, the Toronto native has released three major-label albums, won two Grammy Awards, been nominated for an Academy Award – and is on Spotify’s list of most-ever streamed artists.
The artist has a lot going on this autumn: running record and clothing label XO and – of course – releasing his hotly-anticipated fourth album Starboy.
On top of all this, it has finally been announced that he will be the face of H&M’s upcoming menswear collection Spring Icons Selected by The Weeknd, scheduled to arrive in stores worldwide on 2 March.
All details on the collection will stay undisclosed for a bit longer, and the only thing H&M can reveal at this point is that the line will feature key items for spring that The Weeknd has handpicked.
