Olivia Munn on her Met Gala Look

Olivia Munn on her Met Gala Look

The actress walked up the Met stairs in H&M couture.

"I love the fit, the mesh gold colours, and the dimensions of the dress."

Olivia Munn's customised Met Gala dress is worth its weight in gold. Following the heavenly theme of the exhibition, the actress looked divine in her sleeveless chainmail dress, created for her in collaboration with H&M's design team. We caught up with the X-Men actress hours before she took on the world's most exclusive red carpet.

WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST PRIORITIES WHEN YOU CHOOSE A LOOK FOR AN EVENT LIKE THIS?
"Comfort is a big priority."

WHAT WAS IMPORTANT TO YOU IN THE DESIGN PROCESS?
"Keeping it on theme for the Met."

WHAT MAKES THE MET GALA SO SPECIAL, IN YOUR EYES?
"The thing that makes it so special is not only are we seeing great fashion moments, but we’re also raising funds for the Metropolitan Museum."

WHAT ARE YOUR PRE-GALA RITUALS?
"Getting a massage."

WHO ARE YOU EXCITED TO MEET?
"I’m excited to meet Cardi B and Offset."

YOU JOINED OTHER H&M-DRESSED GUESTS AT THE MET GALA. IF YOU COULD CREATE YOUR DREAM PARTY, WHICH FIVE PEOPLE WOULD YOU INVITE?
"This is a hard question! I would like it to be fun but interesting, so I would love to have a brilliant mind, a cool musician, a funny, witty comedian, my best friend and a philanthropist."

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS YEAR’S THEME?
"I love it. There are so many different places to draw inspiration from."

DO YOU STILL EVER GET STARSTRUCK AT THESE EVENTS?
"Of course, I get starstruck. There are so many talented and interesting people to meet!"

YOUR CAREER HAS BEEN SO SUCCESSFUL THIS FAR. WHAT DO YOU STILL HAVE ON YOUR BUCKET LIST, CAREER-WISE?
"There are so many things that I want to do. Not necessarily in acting, I love the thought of creating, producing, and even perhaps directing. The great thing about this chosen career is that you’re always evolving, learning and growing."
