A chic faux braid for lazy girls
Who has time for braiding, anyways. (In our case it’s probably more about talent, or lack thereof.) Who has time for braiding, anyways. (In our case it’s probably more about talent, or lack thereof.)
HOW TO – THE PULL THROUGH PONYTAIL
This look works equally well for both straight and curly hair. We wanted a really sleek look, so hair stylist Sainabou Chune straightened model Kiran’s lovely curls.
Part your hair the way you like it. We chose a side parting, and pulled the hair into a low ponytail on the opposite side of the parting. Pick a hair tie that matches your hair colour.
Divide the hair in two ABOVE the hair tie, and pull the tail through that gap. (See gif.) If you have thick hair, do it twice. This will create a braid-like look. To close up the gap, use two hair grips – one on each side – to keep the twisted parts tight together.
