Nicolette Mason follows blogger and friend Gabi Fresh, who has a Tumblr filled with Clueless nostalgia and silly gifs, and the Instagram of Solange Knowles, All Over Press.
Blogger, consultant and Marie Claire columnist Nicolette Mason knows what’s what when it comes to style online, so we asked her to share some of her favourites for this week’s Follow Friday.
An editor and writer for Fashionista.com, Tyler inspires my tendencies to OMG all over my keyboard. Her writing is smart and funny, with a focus on fashion through the scope of social commentary. She’s as poignant when it comes to body image as she is gushing over One Direction.
GABI FRESH ON TUMBLR
The home of blogger GabiFresh, one of my best friends and someone I look up to, is equal parts nostalgia and provocation. Her Tumblr is filled with memories of Cher Horowitz inClueless, silly GIFs (expect lots of cute kids and baby animals), and inspirational style shots that are indiscriminating when it comes to body type, race, ability or aesthetic.
Belonging to the blog of the same name, The Coveteur looks inside the closets of major players and influencers in the fashion industry, with a strong focus on luxury. The photos are always clear and glamorous, and I promise there’s no other site with a larger inventory of Chanel porn!
I’ve been reading Fashionista for years, but they’ve recently seriously stepped up their game with a new updated look and an onslaught of thoughtful, articulate, and socially conscious pieces – as well as news on all the latest happenings in the fashion industry.
I’m unabashedly obsessed with the Knowles sisters, but when it comes to style, Solange is one of my all-time favourite fashion idols. On her Instagram account, we get a closer look at her style. Despite the designer duds, Solange seems incredibly down-to-earth and approachable, and I can’t get enough of her natural beauty and colourful look on life!
