ISELIN STEIRO’S BEST BEAUTY TRICK IS FREE

Iselin Steiro’s best beauty trick is free

Meet the model who’s born and bred north of the Arctic circle, doubles as a designer and stars in H&M’s autumn fashion campaign.

Stunner Iselin Steiro was discovered 17 years ago, when she was out Christmas shopping during a family trip to London. When she got back to her hometown in the northern part of Norway, her life returned to normal. But just for a little bit.

In 2003, she made her runway debut for Calvin Klein and Prada. The following years she would become one of the most in-demand models of the 00s – signing fragrance contracts with Versace and fronting campaigns for fashion powerhouses Chanel, Lanvin, Jil Sander, Roberto Cavalli and Balenciaga.

Despite a long and impressive resume, modelling isn’t Iselin’s primary career. After years in the industry she went on a hiatus to study architecture at The Oslo School of Architecture and Design. Today she also works as a co-designer for the wool basics line Le Backhand. Iselin Steiro still models and was most recently seen in H&M’s autumn fashion campaign, where she starred alongside icon Lauren Hutton, rising star Lion Babe and fellow top models Heather Kemesky, Hari Nef, Katy Syme and Adwoa Aboah. We asked Iselin to let us in on her model secrets.

I've received an outrageous beauty tip that involved morning urine, but I never gave that one a try.
