Sofi Fahrman

Chunky knits, Breton shirts and little hints of glamour – Swedish blogger and fashion editor Sofi Fahrman is the perfect everyday icon.

Sofi Fahrman is something of a whirlwind. Always on her way to the next project (her second exercise and workout book, Superlicious, hits the bookshelves this month), the blonde style icon easily moves from well-worn jeans to Louboutins and mini skirts.

H&M Life caught up with Sofi Fahrman in Paris.

WHAT IS YOUR SIGNATURE STYLE?
”Classic and Scandinavian. But since I am a fashion editor, I stay updated on new trends, and I always try to add something new, some colour or accessory. But my basic wardrobe stays the same: jeans, striped sweaters and leather jackets.”

WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE DESIGNER?
”If my budget was unlimited, I would buy a lot more Balenciaga and Stella McCartney. Now my style is a mix of H&M, Dagmar, Acne, Isabel Marant, Filippa K. I get my wardrobe staples from Swedish brands. I splurge on designer bags and shoes.”

YOUR TOP FIVE FOR THIS AUTUMN?
”An oversized knit sweater, no doubt. A statement bag, a fine-knitted roll neck sweater, something in army green and a pair of loafers.”

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD?
”I love all sorts of food! I eat everything, really. But since I share my time between southern France and Switzerland, we eat a lot of cheese.

IF YOU COULD TRAVEL BACK IN TIME, WHICH FASHION ERA WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
”The 1970s! I love the retro vibe we’re seeing this upcoming spring with flared jeans, big hair, mustard yellow colours and the whole Charlie’s Angels vibe.”
