COOL GIRLS IN CUTE SWIMWEAR

What will we wear for beach 2016? And more importantly, how do we want to feel? We celebrate the start of summer together with a team of talented, beautiful and smart women. Get inspired and find your own style.

It’s just an itsy bitsy bikini, right? Nothing to think too much about. Rrright. Finding the perfect bathing suit is like hunting for the holy grail. So we wanted to present you with our version of the perfect summer style – our favourite one-pieces and two-pieces and how to style them, on and off the beach. And since swimwear is something very personal, we invited some of the coolest girls we know to a Beverly Hills pool party to talk swimwear, how to be comfortable in your own skin and the perfect summer.

ADRIANNE HO is a model and the founder of Sweat the Style, a website dedicated to active lifestyles and natural beauty.

”Having to try on bathing suits is always a little bit nerve-wrecking. I just want to feel confident – the best feeling is when you don’t realise you have a bathing suit on, you’re just in the moment, having fun.”

WHAT DO YOU LOVE THE MOST ABOUT YOUR BODY?
”How much it’s capable of. Realising how far you can push yourself and feel like ‘wow, I can do all these things!’ Or how your body can heal really fast, or build muscle or just adapt to whatever you’re putting it through.”

HOW DO YOU WANT TO FEEL, WEARING YOUR FAVOURITE SWIMSUIT?
”I always want to feel empowered, no matter what I am wearing. But especially when it comes to swimsuits. Your body is so revealed, so yes, I want to feel strong, powerful.”

WHAT DO YOU LOVE THE MOST ABOUT YOUR BODY?

ALEX CUNNINGHAM is a model, a painter and a mother to her 5-year-old daughter.

”The hardest thing about modelling is the toll it takes on you, mentally. You have everybody on the outside saying things like ‘you’re too skinny, you’re anorexic, eat a burger.’ I’ve been trying to get signed for years now. In New York they told me I was too big, too muscular, too whatever. Hearing so many conflicting thoughts, that’s what weighs on you.
