3 ways to wear white in the winter
Welcome the new season in crispy whites.
RE-ARRANGE THE SILHOUETTE
Give your blouse a new – and less summery – silhouette by bulking up its shoulders and pulling up the sleeves. Opt for a crisp cotton fabric rather than summer’s flimsy fabrics.
THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX
Dare to stray from the dark winter palettes. Warm classics like down jackets and knitted turtleneck sweaters look great in white. Mixing different textures is, as always, key to pulling off the look.
The old ”dress like an onion” trick to keep warm can be more fashionable than you’d think. In this look, we layered three white shirts. Leave layer two unbuttoned and tie shirt number three around your waist. Keep the rest of your look minimal to keep it chic and not too bulky. Going to a party and want to show a little more skin? Button your shirt backwards to give it a deconstructed look. Ruffles don’t have to equal summer!
