Tomorrow starts today
Our kids deserve the best — throughout their childhood, and their wardrobe. For us, this means making more sustainable material choices. We want every little jacket to carry a story of life; that first pair of jeans to have been in play before. And as you’ll see, chances are they have. There’s still work to be done, but our progress with organic and recycled materials puts us on the right path.
Why organic cotton?
On average, organic cotton uses up to 62% less energy and 91% less water in production, compared to conventional cotton. No synthetic fertilisers or pesticides have been used to grow the cotton.
Today, all of our kids’ cotton is more sustainably sourced, whether it’s organic, recycled or sourced through the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI). When you shop kidswear at H&M, you are supporting a more sustainable cotton industry for generations of little ones to come.
Don’t waste it
Your little one’s jeans are cool, but what’s cooler is what they’re made from. Our denim always makes use of textile waste, such as leftover textiles from production and recycled garments.
Recycle for the next generation
Did you know that raw materials from PET bottles can be recycled and turned into polyester made for the garment industry? We believe in using the resources that are already here for a more sustainable future.
