All that glitter
Minimum effort, maximum party – 3 looks to sparkle up your makeup for the holidays.
THE GLITTER FALSE LASHES
Need a quick fix to add some glamour to your party look? False lashes with glitter will do the job! Keep the base simple, and your lips bare with just a shiny lip balm. Work on your glow and add a bit of bronzer if you want to warm things up. Brush your brows upwards for a fuller look.
To get the best result, first measure your eyelids. Are the false lashes a bit too wide? Simply cut them to the right size! Add a thin eyeliner to your lash line to make the fake lashes blend in. Bend the fake lashes a bit to soften them before you put them on. This will make it easier to have them follow the shape of your eye.
Bend your eyelashes – the real ones – with an eyelash curler. Apply a thin layer of glue to the fake lashes and wait a few moments for the glue to get sticky. Then place the false lashes as close as possible to the lash line and press them in place with your fingertips. Add a coat of mascara to make your own lashes blend seamlessly with the fake.
THE SHIMMERY EYE
The easiest way to create a festive eye look is with a shimmering cream-to-powder eyeshadow applied with your finger. Add the shadow all over your eyelid, up to your brow bone, shaping it towards your temple for a cat eye-effect. Gradually build the shadow to the intensity you like. The Chromology Eye Colour can go from a subtle wash of colour to an intense chrome shine. Curl your lashes and add a coat of mascara. Top the look off by adding a highlighter to your browbone and the inner corner of your eyes.
THE SPARKLING BOLD LIP
A bold lip is a classic way to make a simple look stand out. To make it even more festive – choose a shimmering one! Keep the base simple and your brows in place. Add the Metallic Lip Colour – we chose the shade Great Minds Pink Alike. Soften the look by blurring the edges with a cotton wool bud or your finger; a trick that will also make the application quicker since there’s no need to be precise!
