Swiss Cheese Plant Monstera Deliciosa

The Monstera Deliciosa is also called the Swiss Cheese Plant. The plant owes its name to the special shape of the leaf. As the name implies, the leaves are full of holes. These holes do not only look nice, but in nature they are also very useful. They prevent the plant from being blown over in a storm, as most of the wind and rain passes through the holes. Originally, the Monstera comes from South and Central America where it often grows upwards on tree trunks, or meanders along the ground. This plant therefore comes with a moss stick on which it can grow. The plant is delivered in a inner-pot with a diameter of 24cm. Decorative pot not included. Product cannot be returned.
