The best moments from the Moschino [tv] H&M event
When debuting "the most MOSCHINO collection ever", Jeremy Scott reconstructed Times Square and invited all of his friends. We have the pictures.
It's been a long time coming, but last night the hyped-up MOSCHINO [tv] H&M event finally went off in downtown New York. Now, right after it's wrapped, we're left with an even greater longing for the collection to hit the racks – as well as a string of memories from what was one of the season's grandest parties.
H&M Magazine was on site to document the evening and capture the best moments – including the Hadid siblings giggling backstage, Indya Moore's reaction to Diplo's surprise performance and the gasp that went through the audience when Naomi Campbell stepped out on the runway.

TIMES SQUARE TIMES TWO
One of Jeremy Scott's trademarks is taking something very familiar and making it feel brand new. When walking into the MOSCHINO [tv] H&M event in New York, it was unmistakable that we had entered a miniature of the world's most famous intersection. The biggest difference – Scott rivalled out the real Times Square by filling it with fashion's finest. "I tried to include all the ingredients you would expect from one of my shows – cartoon couture mixed with a streetwear vibe doused with hip hop worthy amounts of bling bling," he said after the show.
HADID, HADID, HADID, HADID
When you throw a fashion, show there are certain essential ingredients; an exciting location, head-turning clothes, Instagrammable guests – and at least one member from fashion's reigning family. For MOSCHINO and H&M, it wasn't enough with just one member. When bringing the collection to the runway, Gigi brought Bella and Anwar with her – while mum Yolanda applauded her issues from the front row.
THE MOST MOSCHINO COLLECTION EVER
"The MOSCHINO [tv] H&M collection is a gift to my fans and I wanted to give them the most MOSCHINO collection ever," Jeremy Scott said after the show. By clashing street energy with pop culture, glamour, playfulness and humour, no one would challenge the creative director on that notion. Coco Rocha – model and friend of Jeremy's – proclaimed on the red carpet: "This is the DNA of MOSCHINO. It's not watered down," wearing a pink fur, a decorated hoodie dress and thigh-high boots.

Phones up! Clad in a sequin parka dress and dripping in gold bling, the crowds gazed at the rare sighting. Naomi Campbell closed the show to the sound of gasps and cheers and the anthem of New York – Jay Z and Alicia Key's Empire State of Mind– blasting from the speakers. "There are so many highlights from this night, but having Naomi walk the show is probably the biggest one. It's the first time ever we feature her in an H&M show," says H&M's creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson.
DIPLO ON THE DECKS
As soon as Jeremy took his bow wrapping up the fashion show, the billboards framing the catwalk rose to reveal Grammy-winning producer and artist Diplo on the decks, ready to get the party started. Soon, he was joined by Leigh Lezark and Geordon Nicol from The Misshapes, DJ Mia Moretti – and the man of the hour himself.
The MOSCHINO [tv] H&M collection will be sold online and in selected stores starting 8 November.
