All lined up
Classic in black, popping in purple and pink or double up in blue? It’s your call with these three inspiring eyeliner looks!
Dare to mismatch your liner with contrasting colours, but make sure to plan ahead! Start with the lighter Brightliner in the pink shade Coming Up Roses and layer the darker, red hue Inc-Red-Ible on top. Let every liner dry before applying the next one. Always follow your natural eye shape and add the wing when you’re happy with the result. Any cleanup is best fixed with a mini cotton bud and some toner. Finish off the look with pink lips (we used the Cream Lip Colour in Haute Pink) and nails (we used Nailpolish in Bleached Peach).
GET THE LOOK: I GOT THE BLUES
Double up your eyeliner game – and do it in blue!
Brightliner (shade: Electrified)
Colour Essence Eye Pencil (shades: Ceremony, Spruce Me Up, Silver Jade)
Soft Kajal Eye Pencil (shade: Neptune Blue)
In Living Colour Mascara (shade: Ultramarine)
High And Mighty Mascara (shade: Black)
Feel inspired and try using multiple eyeliners on different parts on your lid. Follow the eyelid crease and shade three different Colour Essence Eye Pencils in a nice curve, starting with Spruce Me Up on the outer edge, Ceremony in the middle and Silver Jade in the inner edge. A classic winged eyeliner look upgraded in bright blue frames the eyes. Create it with the Brightliner in the shade Electrified on the upper lid, and the Soft Kajal Eye Pencil in Neptune Blue on the waterline and under the eyes.
Create a boxy finish with sharp wings for maximum impact. To get the wet look effect, we used the angled Precision Eye Marker which can make the shape very precise. The makeup artist hack is to start with the top liner, let it dry, move on to the line under the eye, let it dry, and then finish off with the wing. Complete the look with the Soft Kajal Eye Pencil in Black on the waterline and a black mascara. And remember: a glossy liner needs a glossy lip – here using the Showstopper Gloss in All Clear.
