Ficus microcarpa Ginseng is native to the beautiful south of China and Malaysia. In Chinese, Ginseng means "root." It takes years to form the whimsical root stalk. Then the small-leaved ficus is grafted onto the root stalk. The plant is patiently pruned, creating the bonsai-like shape. The plant needs at least 10 years of growth to form the root. These are then imported and grown up in the Netherlands. The genus Ficus belongs to the mulberry family (Moraceae) and is one of the most popular species within Bonsai for Beginners. The plant is delivered in a inner- pot with a diameter of 12 cm. Decorative pot not included. Product are non-returnable.
