Drawstring-detail dress

I didn't like the fact that the garment was very see through even with nude underwear on.Also the strings to adjust the waist under the bust seemed really flimsy and not robust enough to withstand the constant manipulation and readjusting.The quality of the material was also poor and for all of the reasons highlighted I decided to return both the patterned turquoise dress and the black dress.To me they were very over priced and I was informed on returning these items in store that the black dress had been reduce to £7.99/8.00, which still wasn't worth it.Usually H&M have nice quality garments, everyone has a different opinion and they may have liked these items, it's about choice.

This is the first dress I got the hump with ! I ordered it in the L and XL sizes. Soft lightweight fabric which is suitable for a hot day. The strings that are adjustable at the sides are fiddly to sort out. The XL fitted better, hence returning the L to store. Other reviewers remarked about the bust area. The bigger size allowed more adjustment in the bust area. The bra area can be moved towards the middle with a little gathering. The same print is also available in the mama range and is also pretty.

I was very excited for this dress and when it came back into stock I instantly placed an order. Having a larger chest (36e) I went with normal size M, but I found it to be strange fitting, a bit too tight and not flowy enough on the bottom. Not sure if it's my body type (hourglass), but it looked more like a nighty. It also was a bit see through too, a bit too much for my liking - would need a slip underneath

This is a strange dress having a lot of strings to pull. Other ladies have commented on the bust area. I found pulling the front bust strings a the side while pushing the fabric together in the middle of the bust will close the gap, so a t shirt bra goes fine with it. The fabric is soft and cool. Light watercolour print. Will look great with a white cardigian.I have a size 16.18 body size and opted for the XL.

Beautiful dress, very thin material but I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing in summer - it's not see through but I do wear nude underwear with it to be on the safe side. It's also not lined at the top and would be difficult to wear a bra with so I wore nipple covers too. I would advise sizing down, I got the S which is fine but should have really gone for the XS

I bought this dress after reading all the reviews about how transparent the material was. I doubted them all until I tried it for myself. It is literally tissue paper thin and INCREDIBLY see-through. Another thing is, it is very very low cut, past the bra line low. I think the only time I would ever wear something like this is at the beach.

At first, I was disappointed because I couldn't find a bra to work with this dress and it just looked terrible without a bra with my small chest. In the end I found a low cut plunge bra that actually works with this dress and then I fell in love with it. The turquoise pattern is incredible and it's absolutely perfect for me, it's gorgeous.

I like this dress but wouldn't repurchase. You have to do the draw strings up every time you put it on and it's difficult to find a comfortable fit, especially as the strings are on the side and difficult to adjust. The top is a bit see through as well. Just very uncomfortable but very pretty!

Beautiful colour. I need to pull the string on either side very tight to allow for support in the chest area. This means I can wear the dress without the need for a bra. The chest is slightly small and no bigger than a c cup id say. Dress is long and probably too long for anyone 5"4 and under
