Straight Regular Jeans

I bought 3 Straight Regular Jeans. One Black, one Dark Grey and one Light Denim Blue. The last two ( dark grey and light denim blue), fit me nicely. The black one doesn't fit me, but just marginally. For reference, my hips measure 106cm or 41 and 1/2 inch. According to H&M size guide, I am a size UK 16 or a UK 18. But I know better, and I got a UK20 to try on. Like stated above, 2 out of the 3 fit me. If anyone from H&M is reading this; do better. Having consistency in your sizing is quite essential. When I buy something from your store I want to be able to know that it will fit me and having to constantly return and re-order is a hustle. I have had this issue with H&M sizing for YEARS. And I am aware that they tried to fix it a couple of years back, but it appears to have been unsuccessful to say the least. Now, I don't care about vanity sizing, I don't care to see that I "fit" in a size UK16. What I do care though is to know that the size chart you provide reflects reality. Other than that, I don't have any other issues. The quality of the denim seems nice. It also washed well.

The legs in these jeans are definitely on the longer side for sure! The taller gals will definitely appreciate this fit I think! But they work very well with kitten heels, and they tuck into a pair of boots very nicely! And I totally love the pale denim color! So different from my many other light denim jeans! :) gave it a 4 just 'cause they're so very long on me!

Ordered these online and they ended up being too big and too long. The sizing for various jeans at H&M is inconsistent. I bought a different pair of jeans, also size 12, from H&M and they are slightly small on me. I love the style and colour of these jeans but I unfortunately cannot return them since I got them on sale.

They are great but sizing is sooo wrong. My normal size is 8/10 In this case I wasn't able to get into 8 at all 10 was tight I had to go for 14 to have nice effects like on pic in website. Then I found model on web was having 14 too so what's the point of making jeans so small that you have to size up 3 sizes 🫣

Good quality, comfortable to wear. You need to size up I'm a standard size 16 in most shops, however find I need size 18 in all H&M trousers! I therefore sized up to a size 20, they are a lovely fit, just a bit loose on the waist which I find I need for tucking-in. I would definitely recommend.

Used to get all my jeans from H&M then you stopped doing different lengths and jeans would hover on me . These are long and fit without trailing beneath my trainers . As they are pure denim make sure you get the right size . I've always sized up at H&M . Normally a 14 the 16 fit spot on for me

Really nice looking jeans but the fabric is quite rigid. The sizing is so far off. I am a 12/14 in trousers and so I ordered the 14. Barely got the jeans up over my hips! And then they wouldn't close! Very short rise. Definitely size up!! Disappointed

Light grey, sz10 - true to size, Good model, a bit flat on the bottom. Love the colour The material in light grey softer than in dark grey colour which is cons point, and slightly shorter Nevertheless, they are my favourite pair of jeans now

Love these jeans! They are a heavier denim but still soft. I have a pair of black jeans from H&M from 2 years ago so I ordered these because they are darker. The fit is classic so I will have them for a long time. They fit true to size.

Exactly as seen online. I'm 5"3 so the jeans are bit long but that's will all the jeans I own but paired with platform trainers it's a perfect fit. Got a size 14 fitted okay but I would tie with a shoelace as a belt for the perfect fit.
