I size down as recommended. I'm a size 18 and got size L. Nice length, not too long and don't be put off because it says the material is Jersey, they are very thick and good quality, not seen through.

Not my usual pants--they are a heavy polyester knit--but they are comfortable and flattering. Not really for hot weather though.
