This was the only Christmas jumper my 11yo would consider wearing. He loves it and has had lots of compliments. Only washed it once so far. Its quite big on my tall slim 11yo so I'd say it's probably true to size.

Unfortunately, even the jumper looks very nice, the quality isn't as expected. My son had his Christmas jumper day and during the day one of the sleeves started to fall apart.
