It's child-sized. But it also is quite thin. I don't imagine that it's very absorbent. I like that it's 100% cotton. The print is only on one side, though it is cute. The towel was inexpensive but I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for a more plush towel with print on both sides. I purchased all 4 colours.

It's a great towel but not as thick as I thought it would be. The picture and everything looks exactly like the pictures tho. We love it
