Tried it on and didn’t love it? Simply fill out the Return Form included in your parcel and send the items back to us. Returns within 30 days of purchase will be refunded to the original form of payment.
RETURNS AND REFUND
You are always welcome to return, or exchange in any H&M store in the US, excluding Puerto Rico. You have 30 days to decide if an item is right for you. We offer exchanges and refunds on garments, swimwear (with hygienic seal) and beauty products with a receipt within 30 days of purchase. We will issue a refund to the original form of payment. Please allow up to 14 days for your transaction to process.
Just bring the e-receipt attached to your shipping confirmation e-mail or the packing slip along with the item(s) you wish to return/exchange to the store.

Please note that incorrect orders, such as missing or incorrect items, cannot be returned in our stores and must be returned by mail. Undergarments are final sale for hygienic reasons and we cannot offer refunds on swimwear if the hygienic seal is not in place or has been broken.
- 1. Fill out the Return Form that was included in your parcel, using the code that best explains your reason for returning.
2. Tear off the return slip and place this, together with the items you wish to return in a suitable bag or box, e.g. the one you received your parcel in.
3. Attach the self-adhesive return label, which will be included with your order, and take the parcel to any USPS Mailbox or Post Office of your choice.
Please note, that you cannot exchange items online. If you prefer items in another color, or size, just return the items you don’t like and place a new order on hm.com.
If you have lost the Return Form included in the parcel, you can print a new one here.
Each parcel contains a pre-printed return address label.
If you do not wish to use this label, we recommend that you send your return with a traceable carrier such as USPS, UPS or FedEx, using the adress listed below.
Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package is returned to our warehouse.
H&M is not responsible for packages sent with a return label not provided by H&M. H&M does not accept C.O.D. deliveries.

Returned by mail
We will refund the value of your returned items to the original form of payment used for the purchase.
You will receive a Return Note by email when we have processed your return and refund. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the credit to be reflected in your account. Allow up to 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.
If you want to return items that were paid for using H&M Gift Cards, then you will be issued an e-gift card with an updated balance, even if you paid with a physical gift card. You will receive your new H&M e-gift card via email within 24 hours of your processed return.
If you used an H&M Gift Card and another payment method, we will first issue you a new e-gift card for the amount spent using the H&M Gift Card. The remaining balance will be refunded to the second payment method used for purchase.
For example: you placed an order totaling $100, and you paid $25 by gift card and $75 with a credit card. You decide to return $50 worth of items. We will refund $25 to a new e-gift card, and $25 to your credit card.
We will issue a refund to the original form of payment.
If you used an H&M Gift Card together with another payment method, an H&M e-Merchandise Card will be issued before refund to other payment methods.
Please note that the shipping fee will not be refunded.
Please note that if our stores for some reason cannot access your online order, the return cannot be refunded to the payment method that was used if you paid by PayPal. In this case you have two options: you can either choose to mail your return to H&M Online or return your items in-store. If you choose to return in-store, and have paid with PayPal, you will be refunded through a gift card.
