Mom Slim Fit High Waist Ankle Jeans

The slim mom high ankle are my most favourite jeans of all time (even surpassing my 2000s favourite Topshop, Jamie, skinny fit jeans). I'm 5'5", weigh 10.3, with a bit of a mum tum, slimmer waist, big bum and hips, chunky thighs, and shortish, dumpy legs, and these fit like they were made for me. Usually a size 12 at H&M (can get away with smaller sizes elsewhere, but consistently a H&M 12), and these fit perfectly. Perfect fit to the waist, pull in my belly a little, skim over bum and thighs, don't cling at calves and sit just above my ankle, so look great with sandals or slip on pumps. I've purchased multiple colours in this style and although the material can vary, I've found the sizing to be fairly consistent. I have, however, noticed that a pair of jeans that can initially feel a little tight, loosen up over an hour or so wear - a bit like wearing jeans out of the wash that have shrunk before you squeeze em back on. These are a softer denim than others in the range. I like the pale blue and they are maybe a little lighter in shade than I had imagined. For the price, these jeans are great quality. Perfect for curvy bodies.

A little disappointed with the sizing of these, I ordered a size 12 from seeing that you might need to size up and they arrived and were way too big for me (falling off me). I then went into store to see if I could exchange for a size 10, tried them on first and they were way too small, I couldn't do them up. I normally buy a size 10 and even in other shops I'm normally a size 10 too, left me feeling a little disheartened to be honest because they are actually quite a nice pair of jeans and the colour was what I had been looking for. Sizing needs to be looked into and considered.

The size difference in the different colours is massive. I tried the black first, I'm usually 16-18 but went up to a 20 because I read they were a small fit. The black were so nice, they had a tiny bit of stretch but not enough that they would go baggy. I decided to get the denim pair in the same size but when compaired they came up nearly 2 inches smaller around the legs and waist and they had no give whatsoever in the fabric. I could barely fet them past my thighs. They seemed more like a 14-16 than a 20. The inconsistency in the sizing is so disappointing!

Beautiful jeans. They are a bit short though if you are taller than 5ft 7. I am 180cm and a curvy UK size 18 I sized up to a 20 and they fit perfectly. I've tried with ankle boots, trainers and sling backs. All look amazing. They fit just above my ankle. They fit like classic no stretch denim so very little give. They do loosen up after wearing for a short time. I'd say they fit like a small UK 18 or even a generous UK 16. The lighter wash and mid wash will see me through the whole year. Thrilled with these.

I ordered a size 6 based on other reviews, but I should have trusted my instincts and gone with my regular size. I may have even been able to size down. For reference, I'm 5'2" and 110 lbs. The denim quality is excellent, and the fit is really pretty and feminine when you get the right size. I'm so tired of big, baggy jeans that make you look shapeless, so this style was a refreshing change. I'm returning the size 6 and will try sizes 2 and 4 in store. I'll update my review once I've tried the smaller sizes.

Good quality and nice colour but way too small! I'm normally a size 8 so purchased my normal size, but they are so tight around the hips and bum. I could do them up on the waist (baggy at the back), but very uncomfortable to wear. Definitely couldn't bend down or move properly! I would size up but this would just make the waist bigger. Very short on leg too. I'm 5'6 and they were a good 3inches+ above the ankle. Will be returning for a different style. Hard to gauge the sizing in H&M jeans.

these might be true to size if you are not curvy. I ordered my size per the size chart, and they are very big in the waist, but fitted through the hip/thigh, and a bit long. sizing down wouldn't work because it'd be too tight in the thigh. So if your figure is on the straighter side, super cute!! but tough to get a good fit if your waist/hip ratio is too big. I ordered a size 16, and am 5'2". my waist is 36" and hip area is 45"

I couldn't find the original mom style jeans that I know and love, so I chose these instead. I am normally a size 16/18, but I sized up after reading the reviews. I was surprised by the length, as they fell just below my ankles and I am only 4ft 11. However, they are not flattering whatsoever. I was able to fit into them comfortably on the waist, but there was excess material everywhere, especially around the crotch and thighs.

Absolutely in love with these pants. I am 5 4', 130 lbs and I got size 6. They looked big when I first got them, but when I tried them on, they fit perfectly. I'm glad that I got size 6, as they're super comfy and not too tight (just right). I LOVE the White colour. They're almost a creamy off-white. They're thick, soft, comfy, and fall perfectly just above my ankle. I want to buy the beige ones now!! Highly recommend.
