Love these little swim shorts. Fit very well and my son finds them way more comfortable than the surf shorts with lining. Soft and adjustable with waist tie. Perhaps come up a tiny bit small but my son is quite big for his age so will rate true to size.

Son is 3.3yrs and bought 2-4. They fit nice but probably won't last past summer due to fitting small. He is a bit on the bigger size for age but don't think a 4yr old would ever fit in. The stripe don't have a draw string

They are soooooo thin! You can get away because they are black, other colour would be see through. Based on your reviews, we sized up. Bought 8-10 (for a tall 6Y old), a bit loose but it will do.

Very small fit, but otherwise lovely swim shorts. Will keep for my newborn rather than my 18 month old. I'd definitely size up 1-2, especially if need to get a swim nappy in too.

My son loved to wear them. But after 2 weeks at the sea they don't look that great any more. White strips became grey. They are cheap so I don't mind that much .

Son is 4.4yrs and quite slim for age and these fit perfectly. Bought 4-6 for reference. Could imagine these being small for most average sized children though

Too small for my 4.5 years old who is bigger than average. I should have bought the next size up. Also extremely short, might be ok for some, not for us.

Fit my 3.3yrs son great but probably won't last past summer as they are on the smaller side. If your child is in nappies, these would defo not fit over.

Im not sure these will fit a 4yo they are a nice fit for my 2.5yo so may be a little snug at 4! He loves them! Super cute. Lovely comfy feel to them!

Bought blue striped one. Going by the reviews I sized up for my toddler. Love the pattern. Might consider adding a drawstring by myself later.
