These boots did not look flattering in the few photos I saw of them on the model. Plus, there were no reviews... but I took a chance anyway. The boots are MASSIVE, clunky and heavy (like a biker boot should be). I have regular/athletic legs and they are barely flattering on me so I highly suggest you skip these if you have really short legs or skinny ankles/calves. The shaft is tall and wide, but tapers a bit at the top. Roomy, but true to size - however, those with high arches may find these uncomfortable. Very over-priced, but I think I am sold on them.
