Double-breasted twill trench coat

I bought this in an XL (my usual size in jackets/coats) and it's a perfect fit. So, true to size. I absolutely love this trench coat. I've been wanting one for a few years with the vent flap in the front and the back and finally found this one. Nice long length, too. I read someone complaining on another H&M site about the belt being far too long- the way to tie belts on trench coats is to knot them casually however you like, so that is not an issue at all. Can't wait to wear it as it's just so stylish. My preferred way is unbuttoned, wrapped in front and then the belt knotted, or unbuttoned and open, with the belt tied in back.

Really like this jacket it has some weight to it good for fall weather I took a large for a bit oversized fit you could size down if you want it more fitted when I button it up it had more shape and had just a bit of room and a medium would be tighter but not constricting, I'm 5'7 and 78kgs for ref

I really love this coat! It's very good quality and looks smart. The only bad thing I'd say is that the belt is too long. I didn't want it looking overly huge so went for a M as the L was out of stock :) it fits and makes me look slimmer. What more could I want.Really pleased with my purchase.

I finally found the perfect trench coat. I'm a true XL and the XL fits perfectly. Love that this coat has both front flaps and a back flap; that's what sold me. I like to tie the belt at the back. Nice long sleeves and great overall length. Looks very classic. Couldn't be happier.

After reading reviews, I was about to buy size XS, but decided to order size S for comparison, too. I am size S (H&M) - size S fits perfect! XS was tight on my back, ok with T-shirt on, but not chance to comfortably wear sweatshirt underneath, also sleeves were too short.

Initially loved this trench coat, the quality is very good and the overall fit was great but I had to return it as the sleeves were absolutely massive, I could have coped if it was just the length but the sleeves were way too wide. Disappointed.

M fits me true to size roomy enough for a jumper underneath. Honestly I would have preferred it a little longer and with a buckle on the belt however it's spot on price point so there was the compromise. Great quality and colour .

Nice look & feel. I took everyone's advice to size down, (I am 8-10 & got the XS) it will be great to throw on for spring / summer but would be a little tight to wear a jumper underneath.

The most perfect trench coat! I did size it down (i am a uk size 8-10) and bought xs and it still is little bit oversized which is how i wanted it to look! Im super happy with it!

This is a nice material, on the big size but I am finding H&M hard to gauge lately when I come to sizing but I read other reviews and the advice was to size down which I agree with
