I sized up to a M as I didn't want a slim fit. It has a structured tailored feel, looks great with a white tee and jeans for smart/casual look however it was just a touch too short for me (I'm 5'7 for reference with a normal length body) so you could see about 1-2cm between the bottom of the jacket and top of my high waisted jeans, if it was just a slither it'd add to the look but was too much for my personal preference. Still think it's a great jacket so give it a try!
