Purchased these for my tall almost 6 year old. We struggle with finding bottoms that fit round the waist but that are long enough - these fit the bill. There's enough stretch that they fit her waist and tops of her legs whilst being long enough to hide her socks! I would say that they are on the smaller side around the waist, as she's slim for her age/height and these are spot on.
