Wide ankle-length trousers

I ordered these trousers in a size 18, expecting a comfortable fit. What I received was laughable, these wouldn't fit past my thighs. I double-checked the label, thinking I'd been sent the wrong size by mistake, but nope… it says 18, though in reality they're closer to a 10. The sizing is completely off, and it's honestly quite disheartening for anyone shopping with confidence in their size. Fabric and style looked nice, but what's the point if you can't even get them on? If you're thinking of buying these, size up by at least two or three sizes. Or better yet, avoid the frustration altogether.

I've had so many compliments when wearing these trousers. Really great fit - I'm 5ft 2 and size 8 (ordered size 8) and the length is perfect for me, being a shorter trouser they end below the ankle on me but no need to shorten! Nice lightweight fabric perfect for warmer weather. They look great with a vest. I think I may purchase in another colour.

These trousers shrink quite a bit. I had a size 14 and a size 16 because viscose does tend to shrink and washed them both. 14 pre wash fitted perfectly and 16 was a little loose around my waist but after washing the 14 it felt a little tight and the 16 was a tad bit loose but still wearable.

Sizing in H&M depends on the type of trousers for the Cigarette Trousers i am 12 and the fit is perfect, i got a 10 in these and they are the right fit around the waist and the length is perfect for my 5ft 2 height. I actually ended up buying the white and navy ones as well.

I love the style and they fit well. They haven't washed well. I have creases from the washing machine that don't seem to iron out. Lovely style and so comphy but fabric not good for washing. I'm 5ft 4. They are full length on me, so longer than shown on model.

Really odd waist band, it's elasticated but within stuff material so there is no give and it wouldn't be to keep them up if they run big either, shame as look like lovely trousers. I am 5'8 and they touch the top of my feet so they aren't cropped at all

I'm short 5ft 1 these trousers are the perfect length for me. They just touch the floor. The waist and darts make them look really flattering. The material is lovely, was going to wear them for work but will save them for my everyday wardrobe.

Size 10 is slightly on the large side but looks better that way. Waist is fine though not too tight. I'm 5ft 3 and a bit and they just about hit my trainers. Comfortable to wear and look smart. Great value too

Perfect full length on me at 5'3 , really light weight and easy to wear, comfy with elastic waist but smart as elastic is hidden! Look more expensive than they are, fit true to size

These are perfect for the shorter girls. I'm 5ft 2 and these are great as long trousers with flats. Definitely not cropped on me but I love them. Great quality too.
