I'm a size 10 and ordered a S fits me bang on. Thick material but it is stretchy in the leg can be pulled down a bit, snug not tight but not a great deal of stretch on the waist so be mindful of this… D ring belt detail is nice and makes them a little smart/elevated more of a night out short than a day short, the belt is not adjustable though purely decorative on the whole nice shorts

Sizing differentiates between colours. I got the cream and black and the black fit perfectly but the cream too big. The belt is really really long (a bit too long) and you can't really adjust as it's an elasticated waist. Length is great and soft material. I'm a size 4/6 in H&M and the black XXS fit perfectly. The white XXS was too big.

Perfect comfy smart shorts, ideal length and appropriate for work wear. I got both colours. Now I just need some colour on these pasty legs!
