It's definitely relaxed fit! I got a M and am a size 10 sometimes 12 waist 27 hips 35 This is huge on me, I could get away with taking 4 inches off the waistband at least. The material is heavy, the waistband is made in a way that immediately makes your waist big, and the way it gathers makes you look puffy and big all over. Maybe a smaller size could work. 5'4" and it goes down to my ankles.

I will keep the XS as it fits good, note though I am a size 10 or sometimes 12. Waist 27, hips 35. The size M was massive on me so I had to size down and to XS and it fits nicely, I am 5'4" and it goes to just above my ankles. It's thick, lined and good quality but I did notice some of the textured pattern on top had come loose so was damaged.

Gigantic, thick, horrible proportions. Returned.
