There is no give to the material and it runs small so I would recommend one size up as it is a fitted piece. The material is a form of velvet but the light quality makes it flexible to wear across seasons.

Love everything about this top, the fabric and the fit especially. I sized down for a snug fit and got lots of compliments on it.

The top is noticeably short and fits very small, much tighter and shorter than anticipated - for reference I'm a size 8/10.
