Bit of an awkward dress and it doesn't hide imperfections. With a good control underwear it will be ok for a holiday. I am UK 10-12 and bought a size M and L - the L felt better on

I sized up to an L and I'm glad I did, I probably could have got an XL and I'm a UK size 12. Lovely quality dress though for the price
