I first bought a size M because I thought the sizing would be small, since the M size in the H&M store seemed true to size and actually looked small. But when I ordered the same shirt online, the M was extremely large and very loose. It was also too long. The shoulders kept slipping down, and the front was also loose and saggy, so I was very disappointed. I ordered a size S afterward, and it fits much better. The shoulders and front don't sag as much. However, if you are petite or slim, I think XS or S would be the perfect size. For me, the M feels more like an L because it is extremely loose. I hope H&M can make the sizing more consistent between the store and online.
