Serum is applied after toner, essence and ampoule, before moisturizer. A serum contains active ingredients in higher concentrations than an essence but lower than an ampoule. Always patch test new products to ensure they suit your skin, especially if you have sensitive skin. Apply a small amount to an area like the neck and wait 24–48 hours to check for any reactions.
