Numeric Overlap Poster

Numeric Overlap enlarges and layers numerals until they stop reading as figures and become arcs, ellipses and diagonals in solid black. The ground is a warm oatmeal with a visible linen-like fibre, which softens the hard graphic edges and keeps the contrast from feeling cold. Two tones are all it uses, and that restraint is what makes it work in almost any room. It has a Bauhaus quality — confident, structural, a little Swiss — that suits a desk, a studio or a hallway. Hung alone it gives a plain wall something to hold on to.
