Super Skinny High Jeans

I'm a year postpartum and have put on a lot of weight. My maternity jeans are all too big now but my pre-pregnancy jeans are much too small so I've been on the hunt for a well fitting pair of jeans. I like to go for a high waisted fit in jeans. These are affordable and looked good so I decided to take a chance on them. After seeing the reviews I got 2 sizes up from my usual size 16 and I'm glad I did because these fit like a glove. I doubt my normal 16 would have even gone up my legs! They are the same tightness all over, which is impressive as I am extremely pear shaped with a small waist, flat upper belly, round lower belly, big hips and bum and thick legs. The leg length is just right. The waistline sits just below my natural waist and the legs cover my ankles. I'm 5'10, with a relatively long leg length, so this was a pleasant surprise. The jeans look good on. They give me a bit of a muffin top, but that's my fault, not down to the jeans! Easily covered up with a looser top. They're quite flattering and make my legs look slimmer. They have functional back pockets which is a big plus. They're a little stiff but not so much so that sitting down is uncomfortable. I suspect that they'll loosen with wear. These are great jeans overall. But please do order a size up - or 2 if you're a larger person like myself.

I decided to order a black pair of these as well as the dark blue, just to add a little versatility to my wardrobe. I saw that the sizes for these run small so I ordered a size 20 instead of my usual size 16. And I am really, really glad that I did. These are a tiny bit tight. Nothing unbearable, and I'm planning to lose weight anyway so it's fine. But please be aware that if you buy these you should absolutely go 2 sizes up unless you're very thin. The leg length is decent - it doesn't come as far up on my waist as I'd like but the legs touch my ankles. I'm 5'10, so this is to be expected with a lot of high street clothing. They're incredibly flattering on - they make my bum look great! And slim the legs a little, which is good. I think they should be a lot more wearable once they've loosened a bit.

My third pair already, got the grey ones and the slightly greenish ones. I am a size 12, got a 14 and they fit perfectly. The grey ones are much thicker, the greenish ones already have a hole near one of the back pockets. I love how they fit so I bought one more. This dark blue one seems the same material as the greenish one so probably not going to last long as well. They seem "sturdy" at first but after a few washes they get more and more elastic. The grey one is still going strong haha. All in all, love them. I've noticed that for Divided jeans I always need to size up.

I have to say these are a fabulous pair of jeans. They have stretch, they are nice and soft and are lovely and comfortable. They are true to size and give a lovely flattering fit. They are a really nice dark blue for the winter months. I like to put nice coloured blouses on top and I wear with trainers. They are a great length for me. I am 5ft 7 inches and its not easy get the length but H&M have a great selection in long fit which are always perfect for me and I live in jeans so I find H&M perfect for Mums for length quality and comfort so thank you so much!!

H&M Jean sizes are smaller than most retail shops so when you know this you can figure out the best size. I’m 5ft 4inches and usually a size 12 curved. I read the reviews and saw that these jeans come up small so I ordered a 16 which was then to big so I went for a size 14, 30cm length. The 14 for me is a little on the big size around the waists and thighs but overall is a much better size. The only thing I would say is that if going for the black in this Jean style I would go for a size 16 as the 14 were to small, not sure why this was?

If these wouldn't look good on me I would return them now. Pros: - very flattering, especially for hourglass or pear shaped people Cons: - sizing. Normally I size up for Divided items, I usually wear a 14 and it fits just fine. After ordering a similar pair of black jeans in 14 which was too small I decided to order a 16 in these which fit like a 14 in the other colors. So for Divided items, size up once for colored jeans and twice for black ones. - quality Very thin. I don't think they will last long, luckily I got them in the sale.

These fit perfectly, very true to size. I loooove that they run a bit longer than most jeans (everything is ankle length these days), so you can roll/cuff them a little and it doesn't crop them at all. My only problem with them is that the material is quite thin, I was looking for a thicker denim, these definitely feel more like a pant than a jean. I haven't decided if I'll return them or not. They're an excellent high waisted black skinny pant, just maybe not what I was looking for.

This jean is listed as "Super Stretch" however the pant I received only has 1% spandex/ 19% Poly, when online it is listed at 2% span/18% Poly. The waistband is blocking and does not stretch. It wasn't true to size, I usually wear between a size 4 or 6. I ordered a size 6, however it was way too small, definitely fits as a tight size 4. I was hoping these would be long as I am 5,7", however these are ankle length. Having the inseam indicated online would help a lot.

Tiny.tiny tiny jeans im a size 10 but got size 12 just in case ( if a bit big I thought I could wear a belt no.problem) however I only just got my legs in JUST !!! But there was no way on earth they would have done up at all. Im not particularly chunky for a 10 either but these were deffo more of an 8 than a 12 super tiny. As a size 10 I dont feel I should have to wear size 14/16 jeans when every other shop manages correct sizes am very disappointed :(

While these pants are well made, cute and comfy THERE ARE NO FRONT POCKETS! Why a company would produce clothing for women and NOT put pockets in their jeans I have no clue. We need the pockets H&M, please don't deny us this. (There are back pockets of a good size but that's besides my point.) These jeans are comfy though and look great, you just have to get past the dismay of trying to put your hand in your pocket and remembering you don't have one.
