Tie Belt Shirt Dress

I bought this dress hoping it would be suitable for a wedding reception. I'm so pleased with it! I'm a size 10 but I hate anything that's close around the tummy/thigh area because I don't like mine. This nips me in at the waist and falls lovely. So floaty and feminine. The sleeves are elbow length but slightly fluted so very flattering. The material is thin but not see through. The only thing is that the elasticated waist falls below my waist but this isn't a major problem. Such a steal for the price and would easily be dressed down too. I'm 5 ft4 and it is longer on me but not touching the floor.

As people have already pointed out, the sizing is a lot smaller than it has been in years prior, and unfortunately the quality is sadly lacking also. After it accidentally snuck into the tumble drier, my dress has already faded horribly, - the equivalent dress from two years ago is still black and still looks in better condition than this. It does say not to tumble dry, but I have tumble dried the dress from two years ago on a couple of occasions and it has been fine. Not the case with this one. Will not be purchasing again, and would advise you save your money.

I got so many compliments on this dress. The colours are beautiful, the material is nice and cool for summer. I paired it with a navy cardigan the first (and only) time I wore it. But when I took the cardigan off, I noticed a fairly large and obvious hole along the seam on the shoulder. It was obvious that the seam just wasn’t sewn deep enough (or maybe at all); a sign of poor quality. I also found the top ran too large and the collar was floppy. I would have preferred collarless on this type of dress or a less pronounced collar.

The blue and white stripe print is such a classic and will be a great dress to wear to work, especially in warmer weather. Such an easy dress to throw on and wear. I think it runs slightly large - I'm an AU12-14 and tried a medium and large. The large looked slightly "sloppy" on, and the medium was more fitted but not tight. I just wish the sleeves and hem were slightly shorter, as it looks a little oversize on me at 162cm tall, so I might get this altered, but this would look perfect on taller people.

I normally wear a size 20, so I bought this green monstera print shirt dress in a size XXL. The fit was wonderful, the fabric is super soft and comfortable and very easy to wear (falls away from the body in an A-line manner). I plan to use the matching fabric belt as a hair tie or handbag tie - will probably wear it with a beige or white belt to create a contrast. It was well worth the $35.00 I paid for it and I would definitely recommend it to others. thanks H&M

Such a beautiful dress and incredibly flattering on. I am 5'7" and it just about grazes my ankles so not quite a maxi dress. The fabric is lovely and soft so it flows beautifully over lumps and bumps. I haven't worn it out yet as I bought it for a daytime celebration event later this month, but it is hanging in my closet tempting me to put it on!! I think it will be cool to wear in the heat, so it will be packed for my summer holiday too.

For lovers of the previous year's versions of this tie belt shirt dress, this year's tie belt dresses are easily a size smaller (have tried all of the patterned ones, but not the plan). This blue colour way, is a size smaller again and was pulling at the chest buttons where the other two didn't, and where last year's bag slightly. Such a shame that H&M seem to have taken a step back from the last few year's of consistency size wise.

Beautiful dress. The photo doesn't do it justice..Smooth viscose fabric which washes and irons well . The fit is a tad smaller than than last years version but for a.size 18 dress size.and 38dd bust, I ordered the XL. Fits nicely.. The print is ivory with cornflower blue flowers with navy leaves. Feminine and.dainty style. Length halfway down calf on 5ft 7 height. Would like to see this dress in a pink version.
