You do need to size down with these shorts. I had to return the initial pair (size 40) as they were much too big. I reordered in size 38 and I’m very pleased with them. I could have gone to a 36, but I like comfort in summer clothes! Great quality and they aren’t too wide in the leg. High waist is good, and button fly is a point of difference. Highly recommend them.

Love these shorts, great length, good quality denim and the button fly is a point of difference. Unfortunately I had to return this pair as they are very loose fitting, but I’ve ordered them again in a smaller size and they fit much better.

They feel good quality, I wouldn't say they are particularly'baggy' as the tag describes but fit fairly snug, and sit just below my knee. I'm sized 16 in most stores, bought an 18 here as I know h&m sizes are usually on the smaller side.

Bought these in white, absolutely gorgeous! Look and feel really good quality, very flattering fit as well. They come just under below my knees. I'm usually size 16-18, ordered these in 18 and they fit perfectly.

Really like these! They are great quality and style. Wish I'd listened to the other reviews to size down as I got my normal size and they are too big on the waist, length is good. Will order in a size down

Great! Love the rips in this style. These were a bit longer so sat just below knee, unlike the others, which sat just above and looked weird in this style (I'm 174cm/5"9).

Good material, comfortable. These shorts look great with sneekers or turn them into something more glamorous with high heeled shoes. Cut could be a little more fitting.

Great pants for dressing up — can be styled both casually and formally. I’m 158cm tall, and it falls just below my knees. It doesn’t look awkward — it looks stylish.

Look great, but small on the waist & very high. I prefer a slightly lower waistband or on the hips. Definitely good quality, but need breaking in before every wear.

IN LOVE. favourite pair of shorts i own. comfortable and soft nice. i'm 5'5 and they go below my knees. I bought a size 8 and they fit perfectly as a size 8.
