I have a slim figure and generally take size 36 for trousers and pants. This one though thankfully I went for a size down. It's fits well. Still just a bit loose enough around waist. It's pretty dsoft comfortable despite sizing down from 36

5-pocket shorts in cotton denim that has a slight stretch for added ease of movement. Extra-high waist with a zip fly and button. Sewn-in turn-ups at the hems.
