Request access to your data
You have the right to request the personal data we hold on you at any time. You’ll receive a copy of your information to keep, and a machine-readable copy which you can transfer to other services.
Right to access or portability of personal data
A standard package with the personal data will be generated automatically. Depending on your involvement with H&M and what personal data you have provided us, the package will contain data from one or more of the following categories:
• Account details
• Account activity change log
• Membership information
• Online order related information
• Store purchases linked to membership
• Online product reviews
• Customer Service cases
We will send this standard package to you as a password protected zip-file to the registered e-mail address on your account. How you access your data will be sent in a separate email.
The following data categories are less commonly processed. If any of these categories are applicable to you as a customer, you may send your specific request to dataprotection.au@hm.com and an additional package will be provided for you manually:
• hm.com search history
• H&M credit payment history
• Social media competition history
• E-gift card purchase & usage history
• Phone/email log with Customer Service
Compiling the information for delivery to you can take up to 30 days.
