very slim fit. washed in cold water and item shrunk even further. My child is age 6.5 and on the smaller side. We bought size 7-8. I had to re-purchase in the next size which 8-10. This is the same width/cut as a size 7 tee in Zara. Though H&M is an inch longer - very weird cut.
