H&M x ONE TREE PLANTED
In honor of Earth Day, we are donating to One Tree Planted , a non-profit dedicated to reforestation across the globe. We will plant one tree for each H&M store, office and warehouse in the U.S. as well as a tree for every 1,000 pounds that we collect through our Garment Collecting program for the month of April, with the goal of planting 5,000 trees. H&M has chosen to aid reforestation in areas affected by the 2018 California wildfires.
One Tree Planted is a non-profit organization created by Matt Hill as a non-profit in Shelburne, Vermont in 2014. One Tree Planted partners with carefully selected reforestation organizations in 4 regions: North America, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Through One Tree Planted, you can choose a project to donate to within in each region – one dollar plants one tree. The donations for each project are pooled and the funds are sent to their reforestation partner, enabling them to cover the costs required to get these trees in the ground.
