Linen-blend dress

The material is very thick and also comes with a cotton lining, so I can see myself wearing this in summer alone or something on top. The shirring at the back provides good room for my full bust in the front, but wish the bodice part of the dress came a bit longer for xL and XXL sizes as our fuller bust will take up the body and the result is a dress looking like an empire waist dress. I really think HM should consider making thicker straps for the larger sizes …. Because most of the plus size ladies will be needing the support anyways. Still, the print is pretty and the material is robust, and if I think I got a empire waist maxi dress for this price it was a bargain !

12-14, 5'2". So, as an example, this dress was pretty long and was close to ankle length. It's lined and it's really beautiful. I purchased the 'grey', which is more off white/greige. But it's still lovely nonetheless. The elasticated back certainly helps with being a D cup and I found that if you've got a tummy, the pleats on the front might just sit on your tummy. I tried it on after eating and the dress 'sat' on my belly, but still comfortable. I purchased the L after reading the reviews as I know on certain days a 14-16 is comfortable for me. Usually for h&m dresses, I tend to size down but a L was perfect for me. Probably because the dress is lined isn't stretchy.

OMG ! This is simply a stunning dress to look at. I have it in the pastel flower design and thought that was nice, this is gorgeous. A lovely linen blend fabric with a beautiful blue print in various shades of blue on a clean white background.This would be ideal for summer and maybe at a wedding with a fascinator. The fabric is slightly weighty so hangs lovely. If you like a truly feminine dress for summer, then this is a winner. I am a size 16/18 body size with a bust so the XL was spot on for me. L was slightly tight across the bust. Added bonus is it is lined.

I really wanted to love this, but there is no shape to the top, so if you have a chest (34d) it will just smoosh and flatten you. Both uncomfortable and unflattering. The elastic gathers at the back doors nothing to help this since, since the lack of fabric and shape at the front of the top will still just create a flat panel. Beautiful colours of the fabric, and even though there's a lot of fabric due to the gathers, it hits a good place at the waistline to look flattering. If only the chest had any dimension instead of just flat...

I love these dresses. I have the purple one too. They look stunning on. The skirt looks so full. Doesn't feel too heavy when on and gives me so much shape. The only downside and it's minor is a dress like this can definitely have pockets. Why doesn't it have pockets? You can fit pockets in these dresses. Having said that I've bought the blue one as well. Because they are just gorgeous.

LOVELY dress, FANTASTIC quality. I'd style this Audrey Hepburn style, with pearl necklace, headband, and earrings, and some black heels, maybe even some elbow length gloves if I'm feeling super extra. The material is properly lined and the dress feels thicker than I originally would have thought- would be good for spring or autumn but probably not when it's boiling hot in summer.

I really like the dress, but on me I find it shows some of my bra at the sides. I have the dress in black, and it's easier to find a black bra that isn't too noticeable. The bodice part of the dress is quite small if you have a bigger chest. But it otherwise fits nicely, and has a lining so not see through. It's a heavier feeling dress, but still cool to wear

My sister recommended this dress to me,linen material so nice for a sun holiday….straps can be adjusted as well.I'm a size 12 and got a medium and it just fits…I'd be a C cup and am comfortable,if I were any bigger in the chest area though it would be very tight and uncomfortable in the chest area otherwise the dress is a loose fitting and comfortable

Dress looks amazing. Print is gorgeous, very delicate. Fabric hand feel is great. Very summery shape, modesto, comfortable garment. True to size, fits for purpose. Hope stays the same after a few washes. Only comment about it Is that I was expecting the hem to be wider, skirt área fits straight I thought there was more more volumen over the hem área.

BEAUTIFUL WORK OF ART I LOVE IT. The material is properly lined and the dress feels thicker than I originally would have thought- would be good for spring or maybe autumn with a brown jacket and boots, but probably not when it's boiling hot in summer. In spring I'd wear this with a white jacket, sunglasses on top of my head, and white heeled sandals.
