High-waisted denim shorts

I love these shorts! The length is perfect and they're super comfortable. I read the reviews and decided to size up, I'm usually a 10 and went for a 12. When I first tried them on, I thought, "Yes! Good call on sizing up." BUT, after wearing them once, I noticed they do stretch out a bit. So they might feel a little loose after a couple of wears. That said, I liked them so much that I'm buying another pair in a different colour but this time, I'll go for my usual size (10), as I'd rather they stay more fitted. Just something to keep in mind!

Inconsistent sizing. I bought a blue pair and a grey pair both in size 8. The blue pair are looser around the waist but tighter around the leg. The grey pair are much tighter around the waist but much looser around the leg! Keeping the blue pair as the grey ones look like bloomers on me. If the sizing was more accurate then I think these might be the perfect shorts for me...

If I'm honest, I was a little disappointed. I read the reviews which said to size up as they fit small. I'm a 14 and I ordered 18 for a looser fit. They arrived and were too small. I have never had this issue with H&M before and found that their bottoms have always been true to size. Tight in the thighs and waist but loose in the back.

Okay so every one of these reviews says size up. So I waited until that size was available. I got it. Too big!! So for context to help shoppers, I'm 5'8, 68kgs and I got a 14 as my usually size is a 12. A 12 would have been perfect for me. Still loose in the legs. I don't have a big bum or anything. Anyway I hope that helps.

These shorts are lovely but definitely size up. I read the reviews before and ordered 12 instead of my usual 10. 12 fits very well. The length seems also a little shorter than on the pictures of the models but it's still looks great and decent. The shorts are stretchy which is fantastic and very comfortable.

The best high-waisted denim shorts I ever bought. The colour , the length are perfect. Neither too short nor too long. I really recommend them. For reference, I usually wear size 12 but I bought size 14 after reading the reviews and they are perfect. If you have a big belly I would suggest even 2 sizes up.

Rated 4 stars because of sizing. I was a small 14 when I bought them and got a size 16 and they fit perfectly. I'm now a 12 and they're a little more roomy but in a really good way! I love these shorts so much, they're so comfortable. The length is perfect (I'm 5'7) I'll be wearing them all summer :)

Such a fantastic pair of shorts. I was tired of the super short shorts and this is the perfect length. You definitely need to size up 2 sizes. I got scared and sized up 4 sizes initially but that was way too big. 2 sizes up is absolutely perfect for those with a bigger bum and thighs.

Great pair of shorts, took a star off because of the sizing. Iam a UK 14 and I got an 18 and they fit perfect with a bit of room as don't want them tight or too fitted. Would recommend but size up once or twice. Great length if you prefer slightly longer.
