I usually buy the next size up for nightwear, in order that I don't have that "close-fitting" feel when in bed. I am a size 12 usually, but the sizes offered for this short pyjama set weren't numerical and so I went for "M" (which is usually okay). I did check previous reviews of "size 10s" who said the size M was fine, so I thought it should ideal. I was amazed when it arrived because the top looked humongus, then after trying it on, I double-checked the label, thinking the wrong size had been sent, but the label did say "M"! I could really have got "a second me" inside it! Had I tried it on in store (- didn't see it in store), I would have sought out a "S" to try on, but being online, I won't return it now. I do like loose-fitting "bedwear" (although not usually ginormous) and it is in the lovely material that I was looking for, so feels lovely and soft, comfy and cool enough, according to the weather. I was hoping for alternative colours, as I have enough white linen or muslin, but it's still a good clean, crisp look. The shorts fit, and possibly an extra couple of inches length may have improved them, but it didn't really bother me that much since it covered everything it should! H&M, please check the labels going on the correct garment sizes, because I am sure that is what happened and it may be happening with other items, too!!
