This looked so cute online. Unfortunately the XL (UK 20) it just looked all wrong on. The sleeves are smocked as well as the bodice which I didn't realise and were uncomfortably tight. Plus for those of us with more than a B cup there is no hiding a bra in this dress. It just didn't work on me but it would probably look lovely on a slimmer girl.

It's okay, but not really great. Fabric is stiff and elastic top and sleeves very tight and don't sit well. I'd return it if it weren't a sale item and unreturnable. I do like the print. Part of the problem is that it is really an off the shoulder dress, which (in my 50s and heavy) I don't tend to love.

The dress is very cute for the price. The cotton does not fall as nicely as the picture but it's a nice thick cotton. The size runs true. The style is just a little young looking for a mature woman so I returned it.

Read reviews and don't find the arms too tight, just right to hid the flab! Length is great - so many clothes now are either too long or too short - I'm 5ft 5ins, size 18 on top and 20 below. Lovely dress.

Have this dress in a different mixed colour. Whilst I love the black/beige dress, I'm not a fan of it in all black. It is very creased and doesn't look as good a quality fabric. I returned the item.

This dress is lovely. Read the reviews, but I don't find the arms too tight, and the material once ironed was lovely and soft. Can't wait to wear on holiday. I'm 18 top and 20 bottom and 5ft 5ins.

This dress exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to wear it out. I'm DD and curvy and this piece accentuated all of my curls while still looking very classy.

Sized up in this but the sleeves are tiny and there's no give in the stitching around them, horribly uncomfortable on top with excess fabric in the skirt

I sized up after I read the review and I am glad that I did it. Sleeves is not too tight. I am 155cm but length is just above my ankle.

The sleeves are sooo tight. I loved everything about this dress except it feels like the circulation in my arms would be cut off.
