Jute Laundry Basket

Fellow basket lovers, BUY THIS! It's true, it arrives folded, but as other reviewers have said, an ironing fixes that. I bought 2 (cuz pairs!) and part way thru ironing one - it's a chore - I started to wonder if I shouldn't have purchased. But then! Wowzers, it's huge and beautiful! I know the dimensions are on the site, but it's really something to behold. The beige is very light in colour. I suppose it's possible, when empty, the bottom inch or two may buckle - shaping mine atm with a pillow - but they do not fully collapse after ironing.

They're big, they're solid, they're nice looking. Ironing them did help with the fold line - as other reviewers have stated, they ship folded and need to be ironed in order to stand up on their own - but after lots of ironing they still have a slight fold line.... They stand up, but they don't look nice and round. For the extra labor involved in making the product usable, I took off a star, but all in all they're very nice. They're a bit more red-brown IRL.

Whilst the size of this is great… the way it was packed wasn't! I've had to pack it out with towels and blankets to get it to resemble how it should look so I've not been able to use it for it's intended purpose yet, I'm hoping once I've taken the towels/blankets out that it retains it intended shape. A rethink on how these are packed needs to be looked at. It's a lovely product though and well made…fingers crossed 😉

I'm quite fussy (now I've bought my own house) and it's taken me ages to find a laundry basket. This one is fab, it is bigger than I thought it would be, stands perfectly and is a lovely colour too! I would recommend buying this... However the way it was packed means a couple of weeks later I'm still trying to get it into the shape shown in the photo, but I'm sure we will get there in the end!

I’ve purchased baskets like this in the past where you need to iron the basket out in order for it to hold its shape. So I chose not to listen to the reviews and just as I expected the basket is as pictured! All that’s required is a good steamed press with a hand held iron. The colours are more black than grey in the picture

I bought both the white and black baskets for darks and lights and I absolutely love them! They are large enough to hold plenty of laundry and make hauling the laundry from the bedroom to the laundry room so easy. Highly recommend these as an alternative to plastic baskets, especially if you are leaving them out to be seen.

More warm toned than the picture suggests, which I was pleased about. I know there are some reviews saying it doesn't hold its shape, which I had no problems with. It came folded but after a week of standing it has held its shape very well. It's a great size and is very sturdy.good quality. Would definitely recommend!

I use this to store my clothes, and it adds a really nice natural element to my room because of the colour and material. It fits quite a lot in it and is quite large, so have to be mindful if you have a small space. It has a nice shape to it so doesn’t look like a standard laundry basket. I have 2 now and love them!

Some reviewers have said their basket is taking its time to get into shape after being flat packed. Well H&M have listened and mine turned up in a huge box and was only softly folded once, it’s gone straight to shape and looks great. I’ll recycle the box too so as not to waste the extra packaging used.

Great size laundry basket! Although the basket comes folded after having it stood up and stuffed with a load of blankets the lines have came out and is a good shape! The zig zag pattern is not perfect but I like the little imperfections in the pattern! Highly recommend.
